Where is the church located?
St Barnabas Church Centre is located on the High Street in Erdington, on the corner, at the junction into Church Road. The postcode for Sat Nav is: B23 6SY
Where can I park?
Please be aware there is no official church car park. There are two pay and display car parks nearby, one by the side of the church and other opposite the church’s Lych Gate.
When is the church centre open?
General access to the church centre is during café opening hours which are 9.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, there is a morning church service at 10.30am.
What are the café opening hours?
Our Harbour Café is open Monday to Saturday from 9.00am – 3.00pm. The Cafe is closed on a Sunday.
When are the church services?
There are Holy Communion Services on Sundays at 10.30am, in the church, and Wednesdays in the Chapel at 10.30am.

Can I hire a room?
Yes, we have high quality rooms to hire which are suitable for meetings, conferences, interviews, advice sessions, training and events. To book a room please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Further details can be found on the Room Hire section of this website.
Children’s Parties and Private Parties
We’re sorry but unfortunately we don’t offer room hire for private parties or children’s parties.

Is there Wi-Fi access at St. Barnabas?
Yes, we have free Wi-Fi access in all areas of the Church Centre.
Does the church have a Food Bank?
The Food Bank is not located at the church but we can provide information about where to find a Food Bank in Erdington. We also have a foodbank donation box in the main entrance foyer and we welcome donations from the public. The St. Barnabas Mother’s Union will take all donated items to local food banks. Please no fresh or perishable foods or items that are past their use by date. Thank you!
How can I contact the vicar?
A process is in place to appoint a new vicar at St.Barnabas. Provision has been made to cover church services which will take place at the regular advertised times. If you need to speak to a member of the clergy, please contact us and we will offer help and advice on a way forward.

Is the café child-friendly?
Yes, we welcome children to our café. There are high chairs available and there is a baby changing facility.
When is the free live music in the Cafe?
The Rhythm & Bone Jazz trio play on the third Friday of every month from 12.30pm – 2.00pm. Tim Robinson, accoustic guitarist plays most Wednesday lunchtimes at 12.00pm for an hour and a half. He often has guest musicians playing along too. Always check the Harbour Café section on our website for further details or any changes to performance dates.
What day is the lunch club?
The St. Barnabas Church Centre lunch club meet every Wednesday. Anyone is welcome to come along and join the club. It starts at 12.00pm and we serve a two-course lunch (main course and a dessert) plus tea or coffee for just £4.99. To book your place please call 0121 306 4820 or email email@example.com
The Lighthouse at St Barnabas is a lovely modern, bright and airy venue that met our needs perfectly. The team were accommodating, making us feel very welcome and ensuring our needs and those of our delegates were met throughout the day.
