Children and Families - meet Bethan!

We’re delighted to welcome Bethan, who has joined us for the next three months as the new Children and Families Sessional worker here at St. Barnabas.

On joining us Bethan said:

‘Hi, I’m Bethan and I am so excited to be joining the team at St. Barnabas and can’t wait to start working to serve local families and children in Erdington. I am originally from North Devon but have been living in Birmingham for the last 3 years and in Erdington for the last 2 months after recently graduating from the University of Birmingham.  Despite studying music at university, my main passion has always been sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ with others. I especially enjoy encouraging children and teenagers to engage with the gospel in creative ways and have mentored and worked with young people for many years within a church context and, most recently, as a volunteer with the North Birmingham based charity Urban Devotion Birmingham. I’m delighted to have started my role and look forward to getting to know the local community and serving in whatever way I can.’

Online Messy Church is one of Bethan’s first activities.  It’s on Sunday 15th November at 3.30pm and more details will be released soon.
