Anchor Room

 
 

The Anchor Room is a modern, comfortable space ideal for smaller gatherings. Situated on the first floor with lift access, the room is suitable for meetings, training sessions, advisory/support groups and interviews.

Proceeds from our room bookings are reinvested into St Barnabas Church Centre, supporting our Community Hub initiatives and activities that benefit the people of Erdington and beyond.

Hire Times

The Anchor Room is available to hire Monday to Saturday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
Please note the building is closed for hire on Sundays.
For evening bookings, please contact us to discuss further details.

Room Capacity

The Anchor Room can hold up to 20 people, dependent on layout. With the flexibility to divide the room into two smaller spaces, we can accommodate various layouts to suit your needs.

2026 Hire Rates

Day Rate - £236
Half Day Rate (up to 4 hours) - £154
Evening Rate - Standard rates apply, with an additional charge of £75 per hour for bookings extending beyond 5:00pm.

Please note that there is no VAT on room hire.

Discounts and Offers

  • 10% Discount for registered charities and local community groups*

  • 10% Discount on block bookings of 10 or more separate dates*

The following equipment and facilities are available at no extra cost:

  • Tables & chairs

  • Projector and screen for presentations

  • PA system with microphone

  • Flipchart/pens/paper

  • Wi-Fi

  • Lift access from the ground floor

We offer a selection of refreshments and cold buffet lunch options. Take a look at our menu here.

St Barnabas Church Centre is an alcohol-free venue and self-catering is not permitted.
