Main Church Space

 
 

Our impressive church space is now available for commercial hire, offering the perfect setting for conferences, presentations, awards ceremonies and more. Located on the ground floor, with a capacity of up to 250 people, our unique venue combines historic charm with modern facilities.

For added flexibility, the space can also be used alongside our Anchor and Lighthouse rooms, ideal for breakout sessions or smaller gatherings.

Proceeds from our room bookings are reinvested into St Barnabas Church Centre, supporting our Community Hub initiatives and activities that benefit the people of Erdington and beyond.

Hire Times

The Main Church Space is available to hire Monday to Saturday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
Please note the building is closed for hire on Sundays.
For evening bookings, please contact us to discuss further details.

Room Capacity

At full capacity, the Main Church Space comfortably holds up to 250 people in theatre style. Other layout configurations can be accommodated, dependent on your needs. 

2026 Hire Rates

Day Rate - £790
Half Day Rate is not available for this space.
Evening Rate - Standard rates apply, with an additional charge of £75 per hour for bookings extending beyond 5:00pm.

Please note that there is no VAT on room hire.

Discounts & Offers

  • 10% discount for registered charities and local community groups*

  • 10% discount on block bookings of 10 or more separate dates*

The following equipment and facilities are available at no extra cost:

  • Large stand alone screen and projector for presentations

Catering 

We offer a selection of refreshments and cold buffet lunch options, served exclusively in the adjacent Community Hub area. Take a look at our menu here.

St Barnabas Church Centre is an alcohol-free venue and self-catering is not permitted.
