Whether you are an experienced gardener or just eager to lend a hand, everyone is welcome. The project is thoroughly risk assessed, and volunteers will be provided with all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety.

Together, we can transform the churchyard into a safe and serene space for everyone.

Please ensure you wear suitable footwear and clothing, considering the weather!

This is our annual meeting where we elect members of the PCC, review the past year, report any changes on our electoral roll (an official register of lay members at St Barnabas Church who are entitled to vote), present the annual report and the financial situation of the church, elect Deanery Synod Representatives, and appoint an auditor to audit our annual accounts.

Within that meeting we also hold a “Vestry Meeting” where we elect Churchwardens for the coming year. Our annual report will be sent out a week before the meeting so that you have a chance to read it and you are invited to come along and ask any questions you have.

    All are welcome!
