Wednesday 18th February 2026
10.30am in the Chapel or 7pm in ChurchLent begins this year on Wednesday 18th February. It Is a time within the Christian tradition of self-examination and preparation for Easter. To mark the beginning of that time we have our Ash Wednesday service, a time to reflect deeply on our lives and bring before God our desire and constant temptations that stop us from flourishing and isolate us from others. Ashes are a sign of repentance (dying to the things that harm us) and their slight abrasiveness remind us of being washed clean.
All are welcome to join us for this moving, reflective service.
