Urban Devotion Birmingham
Youth Café

The last UDB Youth Cafe before the summer holiday is on Wednesday 29th July.
Sessions will resume from Wednesday 26th August.

Urban Devotion Birmingham (UDB) is a resident-led charity serving various communities across Erdington.

UDB engages children, young people, and families in positive activities and educational opportunities in a range of environments - from schools to streets, from drop-in clubs to their youth van. Regardless of the context or activity, their focus is always on building long-term relationships to support individuals in overcoming life’s challenges and achieving their full potential.

Their work is broadly divided into three stages: Outreach & Engagement, Personal Development, and Resourcing Transformation. UDB get to know children and young people in their own neighbourhoods, guiding them on a personal development journey and inspiring their involvement in making a difference in their own and neighbouring communities.

UDB believes that God wants to write a story in Birmingham where children, young people, and families from some of the least advantaged areas embrace a bright and hopeful future. They are dedicated to transforming communities, one life at a time, grounded in a Christian foundation of prayer.

UDB runs a Youth Café in partnership with St Barnabas Church Centre in our Community Hub every Wednesday during term time from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. The café is a safe, warm, friendly place for young people aged 11-18 to come and enjoy a free cheese toastie and hot chocolate. There is also a variety of games, creative activities and a quiet space for homework and wellbeing.
