About children and families at St Barnabas….

Children and their families are welcome at St Barnabas and our Children and Families Missioner, Bethan organises lots of activities during the year for everyone to take part in and enjoy.

Young church is a key part of our life here at St. Barnabas and parents, carers and children of all ages will find a friendly welcome, a safe environment, and age-appropriate activities and groups.

Bethan has linked with lots of families and does some wonderful work with children at the local St. Barnabas primary school.

Activities and services for families and children

First Sunday of the month is All Age family service at 10.30am . It’s suitable for the whole family from babies to great-grandparents, all are welcome!

Sunday Kids Space – 10.30am in the community hub on a Sunday during Holy Communion. Our version of Sunday School - packed full of fun craft, singing, Bible teaching and games for kids aged 4-12.

Creche – at the back of the church. A space for under 3s and there parents and carers during the 10:30 Service complete with colouring toys and story corner. An adult will need to accompany their child please.

Messy Church is held on a Sunday - check back for the next date. An afternoon of games, craft, storytelling and singing with snacks provided. Contact Bethan for details.

In addition to our Sunday morning activities, children are invited to special services at Christmas and Easter.
