Join us as we transform our churchyard into a safe, tranquil community space and a sanctuary for wildlife. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, considering the weather conditions! All other equipment and PPE will be provided by us.

Followed by a community celebration at St Barnabas Community Hub.Watch or join a festive procession through the streets of Erdington and become part of a folklore-inspired contemporary art project by Birmingham-based artist Tereza Bušková. This public procession is part of a larger, international project called ‘Mothers without Hands’. It celebrates women, telling their stories of resilience and strength in the face of abuse and domestic violence, raising their visibility in the community.

Sessions are for adults only, and participants are required to have basic knitting skills.
Come along to make cosy comforters for cats in need and enjoy a friendly, creative atmosphere.

10.30am-12.30pmJoin us for a peaceful morning to reflect and pray on Jesus’ call on our lives, with times of silence and guided prayer.
We will explore different ways of praying with Bible passages, including the option to use pictures, colouring, or drawing. There will be moments of group prayer and time for personal reflection.
Tea and coffee will be provided.

6pmJoin us for a quiet, reflective service in the style of Taizé, with gentle music, silence, and prayer. It will be a peaceful space to pause, listen, and be still in God’s presence.
This summer, churches across Birmingham are offering a series of Taizé-style services. We’re pleased to be part of this, and look forward to welcoming you to the service at St Barnabas.
All are welcome – whether you are familiar with Taizé or simply curious to experience this gentle form of worship.
